Erik Daniel White, (Millbrook, NY)  Meghan Gerety (Marfa, TX + NYC) and Zeke Williams (Dallas, TX) each reinterpret motifs from the art historical canon, like skulls, flowers, birds, portraits and landscapes conjuring their eternal return across times and cultures. Gerety and Williams recreate familiar painting themes in carved or cut wood. White has developed a perversely complicated way of making his unforgettable paintings, sculpting and then painting images that have unnatural power of our psyches.
